Who are Alex and Megan?
Alex is originally from Texas and Megan is originally from Michigan. Today we live in Orlando, Florida. We love traveling, trying new foods and exploring places we've never been, and we started Colhoun Travels to share what we find with anyone planning a trip of their own.

How do we create our travel guides?
- Every guide comes from our own trip. We film it, photograph it and write it up from what we actually experienced.
- We use real prices. Costs in our guides are what we paid, with the month we visited.
- We separate what we did from what we didn't. If a sight is popular but we didn't get to it, we tell you.
- We check the facts. Entry rules, safety levels and exchange rates are checked against official and current sources.
- We keep guides updated. When prices or details change, we update the guide and the date at the top.
Why is food such a big part of our travels?
Trying new food is one of our favorite parts of any trip, and it's one of the best ways to understand a place. That's why our very first video was a $10 food challenge in the Old Bazaar of Skopje, North Macedonia, and why every guide has a section on where we ate.

How do we plan and book our trips?
We book flights on Skyscanner for every trip. We don't care which airline we fly, only that we get the best price, and it compares every airline in one search. The tech and travel essentials we pack are all on our Amazon travel gear list.
